CAWMAT manufactures a range of bandsaws.

All saws use 32-40mm wide thin kerf blading.

The resaw range includes single head machines with rubber conveyors to prevent timber slip, twin head machines have chain and steel serrated dogs in place of rubber conveyors for added grip, and a quad band resaw that has a roller conveyor which feeds the cants through the headrigs.

The twin vertical breakdown saw (log edger) has a sharp chain conveyor which carries logs through the headrigs.

Twin vertical breakdown saw

The twin vertical breakdown saw has a sharp chain conveyor which carries logs through the twin narrowband thin kerf headrigs.

The saw offers 4 changeable width settings which are selected mechanically from a turret.

The twin vertical can also be used as a merry go round system, where the centre of the cant and the sideboards can be resawn or edged.

Using this system, one would need only an efficient resaw to completely saw timber into finished boards.
